Exal Kressh, the apprentice of Emperor Vitiate, betrays the Sith Empire and is hunted down and killed on Korriban by Teneb Kel (Darth Thanaton).
Learning of an underground sect of Sith and fallen Jedi on Corellia, Galaksi travels to the planet to join them. It is here that he learns of Emperor Vitiate's insanity from former members of his Empire, and of a plot to overthrow him and regain control of the Sith Empire. Galaksi agrees to assist in the plan and joins with the congregation of dark side users.

Galaksi returns to his home planet of Nar Shadaa, and with his new dark powers, murders his father and inherits his estates and fortune. Using his new found wealth and influence, Galaksi returns to Corellia and uses it to fund the growing army.

After a short bout of civil unrest between the members of the sect, Galaksi executes his rivals and gains the loyalty of the remaining Sith. With cult-like devotion, they follow Galaksi back to Nar Shadaa where under the guise of his family business, he creates a standing military and begins funding work on a secret complex in the deep jungles of Corellia.
Galaksi names himself Emperor, and calls his new army the "Black Empire". Together they leave Nar Shadaa forever, moving to their new base of operations on Corellia.
Jedi Master Serrel and his new padawan, Ulysseus, catch word of an "Emperor Galaksi" on Nar Shadaa and make their way to the shady planet to find him. He is gone by the time they arrive, but leaves a trail for the Jedi to follow.
After sensing a powerful force user on the surface, Imecka is attacked by Darth Necarian. In exchange for the lives of those living on Imecka, Brahlis Lydeck is given to the Sith Lord as an apprentice.

The first and second battles of Bothawui are fought and Vitiate's Empire suffer their first real losses in the war.
Serrel convinces the Jedi Council that the Black Empire is a threat and must be dealt with.

Emperor Galaksi is attacked by a Jedi strike team sent to arrest him. He manages to survive, killing his former master in the process, but not without heavy casualties of his own.
A Jedi strike team led by Master Serrel assault the Black Empire HQ on Corellia. While they manage to eliminate many Sith, Master Serrel is slain and the surviving Jedi are forced to retreat.
Venii and Johl Drosur are born.

After his near assassination, Emperor Galaksi decides to fashion his own Council much like Vitiate's. He appoints Oskid the Hand of the Emperor, Decimus the leader of the Imperial Academy, as well as Shem-Ra, Rico and Kamen as leaders of his Sith army.
Serrel's apprentice, Ulysseus, defects from the Jedi Order after the High Council forbid a second assault on the Black Empire due to limited resources. The spirit of Serrel leads him to the planet of Vornu, where the ruins of an ancient Jedi sanctum lay hidden beneath millennia of growth.
Renner is born into the weakest clan of the Iridonian Zabrak. The Ja'Che.

Vitiate's Empire sponsors a Mandalorian gladiator in hopes of using him to rally the Mandalorians to their side. Eventually, after a string of fixed victories, the gladiator is given the ancient title of 'Mandalore' and rallies the Mandalorians to his cause.
Brahlis Lydeck betrays his master, and flees the Sith Empire. He meets a hybrid named Tessian Akeada, who goes by Belhom, and spends a year traveling with her.

Oskid is found murdered with no suspect. Galaksi chooses not to replace him, as he suspects a member of his Council to be responsible. Decimus disappears a short time later, adding to the idea he was responsible for the Hand's death, and is soon replaced by Morvina as Academy Commander.
Brahlis Lydeck is seperated from Belhom after a expedition goes wrong, and they believe one another to be dead. He finds himself on Corellia, where he is discovered by Galaksi and recruited to join the Black Empire.
The Blockade of the Hydian Way, the first major operation overseen by the now Sith-aligned Mandalorian army, is executed, devestating the Republic by choking off commerce, sending the core worlds into an economic crisis.
The Drosur twins become Padawans in the Jedi Order on Coruscant.

Mer'eth'skul is brought the remains of Rancor Squad on Dromund Kass and tortures/kills all living members of the squad including the father of both Solei Pavan and Ellina Kast.
Brahlis Lydeck names himself Jen'ari, challenges Emperor Galaksi to a duel, and beats him to become the new Emperor. Galaksi, spared from death, flees Corellia with grievous wounds. Emperor Lydeck then makes his apprentice, Vakar Sadarii, the new Hand of the Emperor and exiles Shem-Ra, replacing him instead with Drackonis, who he names 'Lord of the Temple'.
Larn Nedar is brought from the adopted Miralukan homeworld of Alpheridies to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant by his future master.

The Sith Empire's Dark Council offers the Galactic Republic a peace initiative, which they refuse.
Emperor Lydeck begins negotiations with the Krull Consortium to fashion an alliance that will bolster the Black Empire's army. Unexpectedly, the Krull Consortium betrays their short-lived allies, forcing Lydeck to attack the Consortium homeworld in what would become known as the "Conquest of Nogatan". Victorious, the Black Empire seizes Nogatan and Dagan for themselves, and Novus Vires becomes the new Imperial Capital.

The resurgent Sith lead an Imperial armada in attacking and conquering the Republic capital in what would become known as the "Sacking of Coruscant". With the Jedi Temple in ruins, and Coruscant's defense grid destroyed, the Galactic Republic is forced to sign the Treaty of Coruscant.
Galaksi's new apprentice, Winter Tel'ana, tracks down the Empire on Nogatan and, being incredibly powerful in the Force, manages to skip the Academy and infiltrate the Army. She immediately finds her way into Lydeck's favor and becomes the first member of the Emperor's "Royal Guard".
Infuriated with the Galactic Republic's decision to sign the treaty with the Sith Empire, and the Jedi Order's support of the decision, Venii and Johl Drosur defect from the Jedi Order and lead a group of like-minded Jedi and Republic soldiers in search of a new home.
Larn Nedar witnesses the "Sacking of Coruscant" at age six, due to the overwhelming and conflicting presences in the force and his young age, he, in future years, cannot recall any memories in this year long void.
The Drosur twins, along with many other survivors of Coruscant's sacking, stumble upon Vornu. After meeting with Ulysseus, they agree to help him rebuild the Order with the goal to stop the resurgent Sith Empire and free the Republic from their enslavement. It is named the "Republic of Free People".

Jedi Knight Satele Shan rediscovers the Jedi Order's lost homeworld of Tython in the Deep Core, and is elevated to the rank of Grand Master as a result. The Jedi Order continues to accept the treaty, leading to further defections.
Through the help of his subordinate, Vakar Sadarii returns to life after his death in the "Conquest of Nogatan". He works from the shadows to infiltrate the Royal Guard with his own acolytes, eventually revealing himself to Emperor Lydeck and starting a civil war. Despite a valiant effort to save him on Winter's behalf, Lydeck is overthrown by Vakar who proclaims himself the new Emperor. The majority are quick to accept him, though Lydeck loyalists continue to fight.

Civil war plagues Nogatan as those loyal to Emperor Vakar compete against those rebelling against his rule. The rebel army is lead by Pollux Trajan and Winter Tel'ana, who fight a losing battle until Lydeck reveals himself as alive. The tide quickly turns in the rebel's favor, but for reasons unknown, Winter murders Pollux on Lydeck's orders. Vakar is cut down by his former master, who reclaims the throne and then promotes Winter to Director of Imperial Intelligence, as well as a Jenet/Zeltron hybrid by the name of Belhom to Overseer of the Royal Labs. Belhom kills Winter not long after, tying up the last of the Emperor's loose ends.
Xaja Taerich escapes the Undercity of Coruscant, where she'd hid after the Sacking, and makes it to Ord Mantell before finally reaching the refuge of Tython.

It is revealed that Vakar Sadarii survived once more through the use of essence transfer. He returns to the Empire, and curiously, immediately replaces Drackonis as Temple Lord. He marries a woman named Zeerah, who suddenly replaces Rune Marr as Academy Commander. Both Drackonis and Rune continue to work under their successors, sparking controversy over the bizarre turn of events.
Cideon arrives at the Sith Academy on Korriban and is apprenticed to Darth Cailous.
Lethe and Isabel Lydeck begin training under their mother and father.
Renner overcomes his captors, kills them and crash lands on Dathomir. He is discovered by shaman Tesla, who is decieved by a sith ghost into using the dark side to enhance Renners size and strength. He is taken by Sith investigating the crash and is taken to the Empire.

Belhom marries Lydeck and assumes control of the Imperial Army, which in turn sparks a period of civil unrest between the Temple and Army. Vakar moves the Temple to Dagan. Trase Scarden releases a disease on the general populace of Nogatan, turning the majority of Humans into mindless beasts. Vakar refuses to lend aid during the time of crisis, instead remaining in his new Temple on Dagan. In retaliation, Belhom fires the Army's orbital cannon at the moon, punching a hole large enough to create a lake on the side she deemed the Army's territory. In response, an army of Jedi "discover" Nogatan, and take over Dagan with no resistance from Vakar or the Temple. Instead, Vakar and his subordinates are allowed to flee to Korriban, while the Jedi launch their assault on Nogatan from its moon. The Jedi are repelled, but not without serious casualties. Vakar escapes, never to be heard from again.
Ulysseus is contacted by a man claiming to be a former member of Galaksi's Black Empire. He offers the coordinates to the Imperial homeworld in exchange for refuge on Vornu for himself and his wife, a deal he quickly accepts. The Jedi, led by Grandmaster Ulysseus himself, assault Nogatan from its moon, Dagan, inflicting heavy casualties before being forced to retreat. Upon return to Vornu, it becomes clear that the traitor Sith never made it to the Jedi homeworld.
Darth Cailous is killed in an assassination attempt on his apprentice, and Cideon is forced to flee Korriban to escape his attackers.
Iskrin Lydeck is born.
Markai Norvak loses all of his possessions in an apartment and a shop fire on Nar Shaddaa, before which his father dies in a bar brawl. He joins a slicer gang that helps erase every trace of his existance from the Holonet. He changes his name to Gane. Shortly after, he resurfaces on Nogatan, where he joins and then graduates the Academy.
Renner graduates the academy and it thrown into defending the Empire from the invading Jedi.

The Black Empire is forced to rebuild. With Vakar and Zeerah gone, Lydeck decides to finally replace the vacant Hand position, and he chooses Dash Thanos as his new apprentice. Together they rebuild the Temple on Nogatan, and raise the Sith Lord, Zafrax, as Temple Lord. They then raise Zeerah's disciple to Academy Commander and grant him the title, Trihilus. Together with his secret apprentice, Hesina Valenti, as well as Trihilus and Zafrax, Dash betrays Lydeck and exiles him and Belhom. Excrucio replaces Belhom as General of the Army, and given the new title of Grand Vizier, while Sephlyl Sejo is also elevated to the Council. During this time it is suspected that Valenti is the true power in the Empire, controlling Dash like a puppet, while the Empire around them suffers from petty squabbles, inner strife and conflict.
Cideon enters and graduates the Imperial Academy on Nogatan, becoming its resident doctor and takes his own apprentice.
Lydeck and Belhom retire with their children to Brahlis' home planet of Imecka, where they use what funds they have left to improve their new home and its people. Lydeck eliminates the corrupt ruler, and is appointed ruler of his former home. Unbeknownst to his family, Lydeck obsessively studies Sith holocrons from across the galaxy while maintaining a facade that he's given up such things.

After only two years as Emperor, Dash's reign comes to an end as civil war breaks out once more. Hesina Valenti replaces Sephlyl with her own disciple, Extal Fel, and then reveals herself as an agent of Emperor Vitiate. The Black Empire breaks into two groups - those who choose to follow Hesina into rejoining the resurgent Sith Empire, and those who remain rebellious against the insane Emperor. Dash attempts to join Hesina but is left on Nogatan with the people he had chosen to betray. Pollux Trajan, revived through the use of a clone, chooses this time to reveal himself and murders Dash Thanos before proclaiming himself Emperor. Trihilus is cut down by the Academy's resident doctor, Cideon, while attempting to flee the Academy. Cideon is made Academy Commander, while Adonis Thade renames himself Tyberius and becomes Hand of the Emperor. The "Black Empire" is disbanded, the "True Empire" is born, and together Tyberius and Cideon become the first Darths of the True Empire.
Cideon earns the title "Dark Lord of the Sith" and is elevated to the Dark Council as the Commander of the Imperial Academy.

Two new members join the Dark Council - Darth Feralis, who is made Grand Vizier of the Army, now named the "Legion", and Darth Siren, who becomes the new Temple Lord. With a full Council, Emperor Trajan manages to repair the damage caused by Dash and his Council, and begins focusing once more on gaining the strength to destroy Vitiate.
Renner takes the name Feralis on his ascension and takes Nakiya Bre'tak as his apprentice.
Questions are raised after a group of Jedi appear in Novus Vires. Not long after, Darth Cideon's research labs on Dathomir come under attack. The armies of the Empire arrive on Dathomir but are immediately assaulted by Jedi forces led by Grandmaster Ulysseus. At the last moment, a group of Sith from Hesina's converts appear, flanking the Jedi and forcing them to retreat. Hesina, Zafrax, Vendal Kest, Excrucio and Extal Fel arrive behind them, and Darth Feralis, Darth Tyberius, Bain Noronel, Bronin and Joric Dryran face off against the former Dark Council and manage to slay them all. Afterward, Adonis Thade leaves the Empire and is replaced by his own apprentice, who inherits the same title and rank.
Jedi Master Venii Drosur leads a team of Jedi to Novus Vires in an attempt to scout the Empire's capital. After sensing their cousin, Darth Cideon nearby, they are forced to retreat but not before uncovering the location of his underground research facility on Dathomir. Jedi Master Johl Drosur then leads a daring assault on Cideon's facility, drawing the Empire's armada to Dathomir where the Jedi fleet lies in wait. Under the leadership of Grandmaster Ulysseus, the Jedi fleet ambush the Imperial forces, being pushed back only when reinforcements arrive to attack their flank. Jedi Master Venii Drosur dies in battle with her cousin before she can retreat, and her brother Johl disappears in his grief.
Xaja Taerich is exiled from Tython and sent to Vornu's Enclave.
Felony Serano flees her home, is captured and taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.
Mer'eth'skul flees Dromund Kaas upon being cited for insubordination and ends up on Nogatan, is placed in the academy, is injured in his first, second, and third assignments, but successfully completes each. after the third asignment, He is forced to take a detour to the Imperial fleet above Dathomir. Post-battle, he is awarded with graduation from the academy and the rank of head of NCR security.

Emperor Vitaite is presumed to be slain by the Hero of Tython in the Dark Temple on Drummond Kaas. While the Emperor was not actually slain, merely transfering consciousness to another body, Darth Malgus stole the Emperor's Space Station and formed his own Empire, as the Dread Masters turned against the Empire to become a Third Power in the War.
Darth Malgus is killed in the Throne Room of his Hidden Space Station above Illum.
Darth Siren releases an unknown chemical in the Temple and affects numerous underlings. Her apprentice, Ahashra Vitriarius, gathers the infected and leads them against the deranged Temple Lord. A cure is produced and distributed amongst the infected and together, the group is able to defeat Siren. She is spared by Ahashra, who proclaims herself the new Temple Lord and takes the name Darth Abraxas.
Darth Feralis and his apprentice, Nakiya Bre'Tak, duel against each other before the eyes of thousands, including the Dark Council and the Emperor himself. After a difficult fight, Feralis manages to kill his apprentice, although the Emperor decides the victory was undecisive. Using the Force, Trajan siphons the life force from Feralis and uses it to resuscitate his fallen apprentice, creating a life bond between the two in the process.
Mer'eth'skul upon returning back from a mission to capture Nakiya Bre'tak's father, which ended in the capturing of her sister, is mortally wounded by Nakiya's assistant. The assistant is shot in the face by the wounded Chiss and after harsh words with Nakiya, Reths is placed in the Meta project, becoming three-quarters cybernetics and one-quarter remaining flesh. Later he and his girlfriend, Anya S Maverick, defect from the Empire, and he eventually is gievn the rank of Sergeant and leader of Shadow Squad within the Vornu Defense Forces.

The Emperor attempts to start a new tradition by holding a masquerade ball to which all Sith are invited. Days later, Darth Abraxas leads a number of teams comprised of Temple soldiers on a secret mission to Tatooine which goes wrong and ends in the Dark Lord's death. Upon hearing of the Temple Lord's passing from Rae Nolvi, Darth Cideon renames his apprentice "Darth Avaris" and promises her Abraxas' position on the Council - a promise he keeps. As the new Temple Lord, Darth Avaris oversees the completion of the Ravenspire - a hulking, ebony tower located at the Temple's core.
The Rakata's "Remnant Empire" reappear after millennia of believed extinction, and begin attacking the houses of power throughout the Galaxy. Nogatan is amongst the worlds targetted by the invading forces,
The Rakata return to Vornu, once a home planet for the Remnant Empire, only to find it is now inhabited by Jedi. The Rakata immediately blockade the planet, attempting to take their world back from the Republic.
Drak becomes an Abomination thanks to continued experimentation by Cideon. He becomes completely obsessed with finding Clyde. He also falls in love with the Lethan Twi'lek Talia.
Lethe Lydeck leaves Imecka to join the Galactic Republic.
Gane Norvak loses an arm in a drill in NCR at the Legion Compound. Lia Ciobanu makes him a cybernetic replacement. He leaves Legion shortly after for a position as Master-At-Arms at the Academy. He is put in charge of the Training Room and also begins experimental weapons development, using recruits as testers. He then takes Je'ka Cuyot as his protege.
Mer'eth'skul is raised to the rank of Captain of the Vornu Defense Forces. However, shortly after their mission to Bespin, Taris, and a follow up mission to Corellia, The Rakatan attack takes so many lives that it drives the chiss mad and he flees for sanctuary on Kashyyyk.
Christopher Algethii attends the Academy and graduates in time to join the Sith during the Rakata Remnant Invasion.
Xaja Taerich is captured on Tatooine by Wraythos Vi'garion and taken as a prisoner to Nogatan.
Anubis Grim is considered K.I.A after CIdeon belives he has killed him. In truth he escaped death, but just barely.
Mer'eth'skul is killed at an undisclosed location on Hoth by a creation of the former NCR, who was a hybrid between the Chiss agent and the human cyborg agent. This death occurs after the failed recovery of the Chiss Imperial Moff, Chosaik'osis'naroudo by an imperial task force and a Republic task force. After his death, his corpse is returned to Vornu, where it is buried.
Anubis Grim returns to the axiom under the name of "Gon'vi Ibis" and is allowed to not only forgo the academy process but is granted command of his own Terminus-class destroyer by Lord Eratos in less than 24 hours.
